<nested:write> using incorrect bean

------- Additional Comments From arron@keyboardmonkey.com 2003-02-09 23:12 -------
As far as I know, this is a Tomcat issue (heard a scuttlebutt that there's a bug
related to Jasper not cleaning up after itself. unfounded. Wouldn't mind the
eyes of Craig on this one?... ).

Strange thing... Resin re-uses tags objects like a crazy thing and caused a
large headache when I originally made the tags and people started complaining
about Resin not working. I'm not saying the nested tags aren't the source of the
problem, but in the absense of IP on Tomcat's new Jasper engine... I need more info.

You'll also find that Tomcat doesn't run my funky tree recursion thing either,
which is slowing the adoption of the method. I'd raise issues with Tomcat but I
need time to sort out what it is and isn't doing properly to raise one. Unless
the tomcat boys wouldn't mind a report like... "I have the funky tag thing, but
it's broken. Can you please fix Tomcat until it works"...
