Javadoc creation of FileVault

Hi,
after the release of FileVault 3.4.0 the javadoc at https://jackrabbit.apache.org/filevault/apidocs/ <https://jackrabbit.apache.org/filevault/apidocs/> is still the one from the previous version. I could not find any particular steps for the javadocs within https://jackrabbit.apache.org/filevault/howto_release.html <https://jackrabbit.apache.org/filevault/howto_release.html>.
Can anyone share how you update the javadoc during/after releases usually?

Thanks,
Konrad

Hi Konrad,
I agree that we should do the same as for the plugin. For now, I would put the latest released one.

Hi Toby,
thanks for that info. I am gonna add that info also to https://jackrabbit.apache.org/filevault/howto_release.html.
What is the policy around which version should be live?
Latest SNAPSHOT or latest release?
Unfortunately for FileVault we don't have any archives yet like we do have for Filevault Maven Plugin (http://jackrabbit.apache.org/filevault-package-maven-plugin-archives/1.0.3/). But that would be the best in the long run.

Thanks,
Konrad

Hi,

See https://github.com/apache/jackrabbit-filevault/blob/trunk/vault-doc/README.md

I usually checkout the released tag (or just navigate to target/checkout) after the release and run mvn site etc.
