[users@httpd] mod_python on httpd 1.3.33

hi all...

i'm having problems when trying to load mod_pyton on 1.3.33

# apachectl start
Syntax error on line 219 of /httpd/conf/httpd.conf:
Cannot load /httpd/libexec/mod_python.so into server: 
/httpd/libexec/mod_python.so: Undefined symbol "pthread_self"

any ideas?
