[jira] [Commented] (LOG4J2-2424) Process ID (pid) lookup

Ralph Goers commented on LOG4J2-2424:
-------------------------------------
A pid lookup would return the current process id. I am not sure how that would help in separating log files. Can you explain more on what you are thinking?

> Similar to LOG4J2-1884 it would be great to be able to use {{%pid}} as lookup e.g. to seperate log files from different processes.
