Today this is done with duplicated methods. And as more as we will add validation policies, the method cardinality will keep rising.

I would like to introduce a Policy-based mechanism for this, which would make this API easier to use.

I create it as Positive_or_null integer parsing is required in https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JAMES-2279 and would lead to method duplication.
