Thanks.  I'll try to find a resting place and bundle everything up tomorrow.  It will end up touching almost all the files in the com subtree.  Right now, I have fairly absymal performance on
navigating the DOM tree and apparently there are some long jumps or other that are blocking my profiling.  However, it actually is on the verge of working.
