[jira] [Created] (AMBARI-20921) while enabling HA Namenode on an HBase cluster, HBase must be stopped but not in maintenance mode

Artem Ervits created AMBARI-20921:
-------------------------------------

Summary: while enabling HA Namenode on an HBase cluster, HBase must be stopped but not in maintenance mode
                 Key: AMBARI-20921
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AMBARI-20921
             Project: Ambari
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: ambari-server
    Affects Versions: 2.5.0
            Reporter: Artem Ervits
            Priority: Minor

Enabling HA Namenode requires HBase to be down, if you bring it down and place in maintenance mode, Ambari won't complete the enable HA wizard due to some components in maintenance mode message. In this situation, HBase will start sending alerts as it's down but not in maintenance mode. I suggest some logic to exclude HBase maintenance mode from HA Namenode wizard.
