Dear Shervin,

to best of my knowledge there is currently no built in feature to support that. Although PDFBox provides the basic capabilities what's missing is a "rules engine" which a) identifies what is and is not allowed if a PDF conforms to PDF/A b) specifies how exceptions are to be handled and possibly converted to be conformant and c) a "profile handling" as the same exists for PDF/E, PDF/X ...

Of course if you take care of that rule set and it's implementation PDFBox could provide a base to do the PDF manipulation involved.
