[ANNOUNCE] Apache HBase 2.5.3 is now available for download

The HBase team is happy to announce the immediate availability of HBase
2.5.3.

Apache HBase™ is an open-source, distributed, versioned, non-relational
database.

Apache HBase gives you low latency random access to billions of rows with
millions of columns atop non-specialized hardware. To learn more about
HBase, see https://hbase.apache.org/.

HBase 2.5.3 is the latest patch release in the HBase 2.5.x line. The
full list of issues can be found in the included CHANGES and RELEASENOTES,
or via our issue tracker:

Notice that, since 2.5.2, we publish dists and maven artifacts which are
built against hadoop3. You can download the hadoop3 dists from the
download page which has 'hadoop3-' prefix. And for maven artifacts, please
use 2.5.3-hadoop3 as the version of the hbase dependencies in your pom.
