[TRANSLATION]: update in progress
Hi,
I did some further tests and have now a much better overview about the
current state of the pootle server.
I will work on the help updates tomorrow to ensure that the work can
started.
Sorry again for the delay but I wanted to ensure that I understand where
we are and which steps are necessary.
I am not 100% happy with the current setup but for 3.4 we will continue
with the projects we have. For future versions I will propose a slightly
different approach and will work on some scripting too automated some
things...
I was at least able to get the 100% translations from pootle and test it
locally. I will integrate them asap for further testing in the office build.

That is the difficult part because only committers can submit
translations. You should start to send an iCLA first and we will try to
push everything in a appropriate way. I don'T see another way at the moment.
I tried already to add gl but failed with an update to the latest
templates. I am working on it...

Hi Jurgen and all
Yes I am interested. For me, is a matter of continuity. Thousands of
galician users work with OpenOffice and, as professional linguist that
I am, I enjoy with the translation work. Let me worry about galician
version and linguistic spelling too.
I understand very well the difficulties.
We, the galician community, are a little but efficient and estable
group of translators arround Project Trasno (trasno.net) with more
than 10 years of activity. We had in OpenOffice.org from de very
beginning. Today we have interest in a galician office suite,
supporting ODF format, as alternative to "others" privatives. You can

based on the fact that we were not sure about the current state of any
language because of the initial confusion around the old pootle server
and potentially lost translations. We started with a subset of languages
only where we noticed activity and where people have shown interest to
work on translation. We will welcome any group of people who is
interested to translate the office into a new language or extend an
existing one.
Just let us known that you are there ... Everything else can we setup then.

Yes, please, send me a tip about steps and rules ... You know? we had

Hi Jurgen and all,
Are you in charge of Pootle's administration?
I'm the former coordinator from Galician Native Lang at OpenOffice.org
I, and my community too, are confused by the estate of galician
translation. We don't know if in the next 3.4 AOO versión AOO we will
get galician interface, help and some vital component nor extensións
we had in OOo as dictionary, hyphenization...
http://extensions.services.openoffice.org/en/search/node/Galician
How do we must proceed for restore our status?
Can you or somebody help me?
