[jira] [Commented] (CLIMATE-73) Remove Update button from
ParameterSelectCtrl
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CLIMATE-73?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13673586#comment-13673586 ]
Shakeh Khudikyan commented on CLIMATE-73:
-----------------------------------------
If we do remove the update button, we need to come up with a smart way of handling incorrect parameters users might input. If we are instantaneously updating the timeline and map, updating the visual components have to be taken into consideration. Validation is a must! So I'm open to removing the update button.

> The Update button in the UI is nearly useless. The user doesn't actually have to use the button at all so it ends up being confusing for the user. At this point we should just remove it and re-implement the functionality later in more correct format. We can evaluate valid user input after they stop inputting values instead of requiring that they push a specific button.
