Installing ant in c:\Program Files

Hello!
I am running NT4 and have tried to install ant in c:\ Program Files\ant, but
get the following message when running:

The name specified is not recognized as an
internal or external command, operable program or batch file.
The name specified is not recognized as an
internal or external command, operable program or batch file.
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:
org/apache/tools/ant/Main

When installing ant on c:\ant there is no problem.
Why??

Regards,
Ulf Collert, ATG, Sweden

Ulf,

I committed a patch last night that will allow ant to live in a directory
with spaces in it.

Under windoze, an alternate, "spaceless" name for a directory can be
got w/: "dir /x"

ie.: "program files" becomes: progra~1

Probably you have to double quote " le full path because
Java doesn't like white spaces in classpath :-)

set ANT_HOME="C:\Program Files\ant"

I don't know if this is enough for the classpath
resolution... somebody else may know that better than me :-)
