Refresh triggering previous action

Good day to all,

I am John Regan.

I searched the archives and found several postings on the subject but none
included a definitive answer.  Has anyone come up with a solution to the
following:
Login form page when submitted triggers loginaction, upon success the
welcome page is displayed.
The user presses the refresh button which triggers loginaction again(which
leads to bad things).
