[jira] [Resolved] (DIRSERVER-1868) DIGEST-MD5 fail to acquire password

Kiran Ayyagari resolved DIRSERVER-1868.
---------------------------------------

    Resolution: Not A Problem
      Assignee: Kiran Ayyagari

Please make sure you give the value of the 'uid' attribute alone instead of the full DN in the field labeled "Bind DN or user" in Studio.

I have tested this using Studio v2.0.0.v20130628 and Server trunk (2.0.0-M16-SNAPSHOT).

> Tried using Directory Studio to connect using DIGEST-MD5 SASL but keep getting "cannot acquire password" problem. I already disabled password policy and server side hashing as suggested in the mailing list achieve. The search base DN is "ou=system" as I'm using the default admin account and password ("secret" in plaintext).
