[jira] Created: (SOLR-2018) waitFlush="false" currently doens't
work
waitFlush="false" currently doens't work
----------------------------------------
Key: SOLR-2018
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-2018
Project: Solr
Issue Type: Bug
Affects Versions: 1.4.1, 1.4
Reporter: Hoss Man
Fix For: 3.1, 4.0
circling back on an old mailing list thread...
http://search.lucidimagination.com/search/document/24ef53e6e66d3a41/optimize_with_waitflush_false_and_waitsearcher_false_takes_a_long_time
according to miller and koji, SOlr doesn't currently pay any attention to the "waitFLush" option when doing a commit/optimize.
Prior to the next release, we either fix this, or document that it changed (when did it change?) and rip out that code
