[jira] (MECLIPSE-747) Make the behavior in MECLIPSE-379 optional

Adar Dembo created MECLIPSE-747:
-----------------------------------

             Summary: Make the behavior in MECLIPSE-379 optional
                 Key: MECLIPSE-747
                 URL: https://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MECLIPSE-747
             Project: Maven Eclipse Plugin
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: Core : Dependencies resolution and build path (.classpath)
    Affects Versions: 2.8
            Reporter: Adar Dembo

I have a dependency on a maven artifact with a classifier, but its javadoc/sources JARs don't need the classifier. The relevant repo contents:

{noformat}
hsqldb-2.3.1-javadoc.jar                           08-Oct-2013 03:09                 261
hsqldb-2.3.1-jdk6debug.jar                         08-Oct-2013 03:05             2016963
hsqldb-2.3.1-sources.jar                           08-Oct-2013 03:08             2307895
hsqldb-2.3.1.jar                                   08-Oct-2013 02:55             1467326
{noformat}

Full repo can be seen here: http://central.maven.org/maven2/org/hsqldb/hsqldb/2.3.1

I've added <classifier>jdk6debug</classifier> to my <dependency/>, but that causes maven-eclipse-plugin to look for JARs named -jdk6debug-sources and -jd6debug-javadoc. In this case, the classifier applies to the binary JAR but not the sources or javadoc.
