[VOTE] Release v3.3.4
Hi all,
I've prepared a release for v3.3.4, which has further improvements towards
our v3.4.0 release. Please see the CHANGES file for more details:
https://git-wip-us.apache.org/repos/asf?p=trafficserver.git;a=blob_plain;f=CHANGES;hb=3.3.x
Note that this release includes all fixes since the v3.3.2 release. This
[VOTE] also supersedes the v3.3.3 vote (which failed).
There are several known bugs left in the v3.3.x queue, which are (now)
scheduled for v3.3.5. All bugs that are scheduled for v3.3.6 are currently
candidates to get pushed out to v3.5.0, if you feel strongly about any of
the bugs in v3.3.6, triage them asap.
This is a community effort, so we need everyone to help out. Most important
is that the users of ATS helps with these efforts, and your votes and bug
reports are always much appreciated. PMC votes are of course also necessary
to get this to pass, as usual.
The v3.3.4 release passes build and regressions on all platforms on
http://ci.trafficserver.apache.org/ . The artifacts are available at
http://people.apache.org/~zwoop/rel-candidates/:
-rw-r--r-- 1 zwoop zwoop 6040730 Jun 6 21:44 trafficserver-3.3.4-dev.tar.bz2
-rw-r--r-- 1 zwoop zwoop 836 Jun 6 21:44
trafficserver-3.3.4-dev.tar.bz2.asc
-rw-r--r-- 1 zwoop zwoop 66 Jun 6 21:44
trafficserver-3.3.4-dev.tar.bz2.md5
-rw-r--r-- 1 zwoop zwoop 74 Jun 6 21:44
trafficserver-3.3.4-dev.tar.bz2.sha1
MD5: eed346195cdcbf24ee6fe5992f88e698
SHA1: 8117253aa6b94c87349a3f3f3f198253a8fba871
Note: The increase in tar-ball size (over 2x) is due to the inclusion of the
doc/ tree.
The goal is to release this on June 10th, so please cast your +, - or 0
votes asap. This release is roughly 4 weeks late, so we're currently looking
at a 3.3.5 release in early July, with v3.4.0 following sometime in the
second half of July.
Cheers,
