[jira] [Created] (QPID-3336) Need to add Qpid version jars to Maven Central repository

Need to add Qpid version jars to Maven Central repository
---------------------------------------------------------

                 Key: QPID-3336
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/QPID-3336
             Project: Qpid
          Issue Type: Improvement
            Reporter: Ashwin Karpe
            Priority: Minor

There are no official versions of Qpid jars in Maven Central or any well-known maven or apache repositories.

This causes Maven users and other Apache projects such as Apache Camel, Servicemix and CXF to be unable to effectively utilize the Qpid jars without doing a "mvn install" into a local repository creating multiple copies with their own home-grown version numbers.

Can you please add a task in ant or create a simple step that adds the generated jars into Maven Central or Apache Central repositories.

Ashwin Karpe updated QPID-3336:
-------------------------------

    Description:
There are no official versions of Qpid Broker jars in Maven Central or any well-known maven or apache repositories.

Robbie Gemmell closed QPID-3336.
--------------------------------

       Resolution: Fixed
    Fix Version/s: 0.14

As per QPID-3558, the 0.14 release (hopefully available very soon, it just missed release before the holidays got in the way) will add broker jars to the generated maven artifacts which we submit to Maven Central via the ASFs Nexus instance.
