allowLinking - Symbolic Links

Hi,

I'm trying to get this setting to work. I basically have a directory of 
commonly used scripts that I want to use on multiple applications.

	/_include/
	/mynewwebapp/_include -> path/to/_include/

I tried making symbolic links, but they don't seem to work. I read 
where I have to use "allowLinking", but I am confused of how to set 
this properly.
