[ANNOUNCE] Apache Flex SDK Installer 3.2

The Apache Flex community is pleased to announce the release of Apache
Flex SDK Installer 3.2

Apache Flex is a highly productive, open source application framework for
building and maintaining expressive applications that deploy consistently
on all major browsers, desktops and devices (including smartphones,
tablets and tv).

Apache Flex SDK Installer 3.2 is an update to Apache Flex SDK Installer
3.1. Besides some bug fixes, it uses a different HTTP mechanism that we
hope will reduce the number of install failures.

Apache Flex SDK Installer is available in source form from the following
download page:
http://flex.apache.org/installer.html

Executables for Windows and Mac are also available there.

Executables for Linux are no longer provided as all recent Flex and FlexJS
SDKs can be installed by running the installer.xml Ant script in the
release packages.

When downloading from a mirror site, please remember to verify the
downloads using signatures or MD5 hashes.

For more information on Apache Flex, visit the project home page:
http://flex.apache.org

Thank you for using Apache Flex,
The Apache Flex Community

Nick is right, although it just now occurred to me that we could try to
track which licenses have been previously accepted on that computer and
pre-check those boxes.

Unfortunately, we have to have users interact with the app to agree to each
different license.

This is because the installer has not been signed by Apache. If I get some time this week I’ll take a look into what’s required to do that unless someone else want to have a look?

Whne I went to uninstall the installer on Windows 7, the publish lists
UNKNOWN, is this normal, I thought it would say Apache Flex or something.

Also, is there a way to get "uninstall" shortcut next the the run shortcut
in the app menu, so people to have to go to the control panel or whatever
to uninstall, I can't remember with AIR.

How about selecting the required items by default? Users anyway need to
click all those 3 items. Keeping them selected by default would help users
directly move on to next screen by clicking next... That's just me though :

Tried to update to new installer, but getting this message(I already have
3.1 installed on my machine):
"The application cannot be installed due to a certificate problem. The
certificate does not match the installed application certificate, does not
support application upgrades, or is invalid. Please contact the
application author."

Should I uninstall old version and then install the new version?
