[Issue 126813] New: Graphics loss after saving

https://bz.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=126813

          Issue ID: 126813
        Issue Type: DEFECT
           Summary: Graphics loss after saving
           Product: Writer
           Version: 4.0.1
          Hardware: All
                OS: Windows 7
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: Major
          Priority: P5 (lowest)
         Component: save-export
          Assignee: issues@openoffice.apache.org
          Reporter: wallwiz@msn.com

Obviously the issue of losing most jpg graphics after saving and reopening,
even from a backup copy, has never been resolved. Makes it difficult to write,
edit, and present anything for publication. The forum is too complicated for me
to understand fully, and I've wasted months of research, documentation, and
writing.

Not only that, but the restrictions in find real help to resolve this issue are
a real kick in the backside. This has been a problem for me for years. Guess
I'll have to fork out the dough for something hopefully better.

Your bug report is being closed as NOT_AN_ISSUE due to a lack of information

encourage you to retest your bug against the latest release. If the issue is
still present in the latest stable release, we need the following information
(please ignore any that you've already provided):

a) Provide details of your system including your operating system and the
latest version of AOO that you have confirmed the bug to be present

b) Provide a step-by-step procedure to reproduce (the simpler will be the
better)

c) Provide any test case(s) which will help us confirm the problem (like a
sample document)

d) Provide screenshots of the problem if you think it might help

Once all of this is done, please set the bug back to UNCONFIRMED and we will
