Are comments working?

I tried using xsl:comment tags on page2xhtml.xsl, but I can't get it work,
and I don't know why...

I readed a lot of information in this forum about comments... And I think is
as easy as writing <xsl:comment>My comments here</xsl:comment> but it
doesn't works.

I'm using Lenya 2.0.3, is it possible that this could be a bug?

Apparently the authoring post-processing pipeline contains a 
transformation which doesn't preserve the comments. If you have the 
feeling that this issue is important, please file a bug. Thanks!
