[jira] [Created] (UIMA-2729) Make plugin useable in conjunction with pear packaging plugin

Richard Eckart de Castilho created UIMA-2729:
------------------------------------------------

Summary: Make plugin useable in conjunction with pear packaging plugin
                 Key: UIMA-2729
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/UIMA-2729
             Project: UIMA
          Issue Type: New Feature
          Components: uimaFIT-Maven-Plugin
            Reporter: Richard Eckart de Castilho

According to the PEAR conventions, the descriptor files should all go to the *desc* folder. Currently, the uimaFIT Maven plugin places descriptors next to the classes in the corresponding packages. There should be an option that allows to generate them to both locations. In that way, they can be accessed via the class path in a regular Java setup and they can be packaged within the usual location in a PEAR.
