Server Configuration Reference: connector element not linked to its pages when mentioned in other SCR pages
Summary: Server Configuration Reference: connector element not
linked to its pages when mentioned in other SCR pages
Product: Tomcat 5
Version: 5.0.28
Platform: All
URL: http://jakarta.apache.org/tomcat/tomcat-5.0-
doc/config/service.html
OS/Version: All
Status: NEW
Severity: Enhancement
Priority: Other
Component: Catalina
AssignedTo: tomcat-dev@jakarta.apache.org
ReportedBy: apache-bug-db@web-startup.co.uk
Links are provided to the page for each of the server, service, context,
engine, and host elements, whererever those term appear in the body of a doc in
the reference. However there are no links at all when the connector element is
mentioned. At first I thought that there *was* no connector page, then I
realised that in fact there are two, but you have to click in the left margin.
Suggestions:
1. add a "connector" page to the reference, which explains that there are more
than one type, with a link to each.
2. as with other server config elements, link each mention of connector within
the reference to the new page.
