-I had Spam Assassin installed on my mail server hosted by my ISP, Verio. I can't see that it is doing anything at all. I'm not a Unix person and I'm trying to learn if there is anything about Spam Assassin that is usable by the end user email recipient. For example, can the end user edit filtering rules? All the info I have found so far has a glaring absence of any information about how the end user interacts. Perhaps it is seamless and the end user never sees or does anything. If so, the docs for Spam Assassin really should say this somewhere.
+''(warning: it's recommended you do not use genuine email address formatting with an at sign, like you@example.com, since it will be exposed to spam crawlers. use "/at/" instead of "@" to disguise the address, etc., but keep it human-readable.)''
