Basically our behavior when re-using transformer objects when you're setting 
parameters into the stylesheet is much better than it was before, but rarely 
will still throw an NPE.  In my case, using xml-xalan CVS 11-Feb-02 9AM on W2K 
SP2 IBM JDK 1.3.
