> Currently there are some problems with doxia 1.7 and the current maven site plugin which which seems to have used this. With the latest version of the site plugin it was not possible to use asciidoctor because of some problems with doxia. Doxia 1.8 has recently been released and currently a vote for the site plugin is on the way that uses this new 1.8 version. Unfortunately these problems force us to stay behind the latest version of the maven-site-plugin. It would be good to regularly check, if these problems have been addressed and we can remove any hacks and simplify the build.
