In many ways:
o When you type the space or whatever after the URL which causes the
effect, that typing and the automatic insertion of the hyperlink are
considered separate actions. If you immediately go to Edit | Undo (or
Ctrl+Z), the hyperlink will disappear but your typing remain.
o Otherwise, right-click on the hyperlink text and choose Remove Hyperlink.
o If you really want to disable this facility completely, go to Tools
| AutoCorrect Options... | Options and remove either or both ticks
from URL Recognition.
