The metadata servlet currently does not return the correct full set of module prefs in the JSON object.
The inner Job class in the JsonRpcHandler class hand-crafts the JSON response (rather than using reflection or similar) and does not include the description field. It includes all other module prefs, so this would appear to be an oversight.

Late late update on this one -- description isn't returned right now due to payload size.
There's a TODO in here for only returning the fields requested by the consumer of the servlet (perhaps broken down into groups)?
Is anyone interested in tackling this?
