Please start a new thread with a suitable subject message whe asking a
new question.

But please read the user documentation first - there is plenty of
information; also read the mailing list for previous postings on the
subject.

Are you using Java 6?

If so, try using Java 5 or Java 4.

There was a change in Java 6 which changed the method used in socket creation.
Previously it was only necessary to override some methods, and some
code (including JMeter) was lazy in not overriding them all.
