POP server

Hi,

Is the POP server capable of handling a mailbox that has messages more 
than ~4000? I mean, what restrictions are applied for that kind of 
situation? (amount of memory? max. thread number?) 

As I recall, when I have that kind of situation, I can connect to the 
POP server and get the list of messages, but when the "list" command is 
executed on the server, it responds with something that is not 
understandable by the POP client.

BTW, it's on version 2.2.0a7.
