[jira] [Created] (CLOUDSTACK-9206) Input issue on change service
offering in Custom
Lee Mangold created CLOUDSTACK-9206:
---------------------------------------
Summary: Input issue on change service offering in Custom
Key: CLOUDSTACK-9206
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CLOUDSTACK-9206
Project: CloudStack
Issue Type: Bug
Security Level: Public (Anyone can view this level - this is the default.)
Components: Management Server
Affects Versions: 4.7.0
Environment: CentOS 6.7, KVM, 2 CPU, 8 Cores total, 32GB RAM
Reporter: Lee Mangold
Priority: Minor
When trying to change a service offering from a defined offering (e.g. medium) to a custom offering (one with the custom box checked), I get the following error: "Invalid cpu cores value, specify a value between 1 and 2147483647".
Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a service offering, checking the "custom" checkbox.
2. Stop target Instance
3. In Instances > instancename, select the "Change service offering" icon.
4. Change to your custom offering type
5. Input 1000/2/1024 for CPU/Cores/Memory
6. Error: "Invalid cpu cores value, specify a value between 1 and 2147483647"
The workaround has been to create smaller defined offerings and change to those, rather than using a custom type.
