[jira] [Commented] (HADOOP-14809) hadoop-aws shell profile not
being built
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HADOOP-14809?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=16142768#comment-16142768 ]
Steve Loughran commented on HADOOP-14809:
-----------------------------------------
Interesting little issue this: there's currently no tests that shell profiles get created in a dist release.
It should be possible for a test in hadoop-diet/pom.xml to use an ant snippet to check for a list of files existing.. we can use this as the automated tests for all our shell profiles. That way: no need to test by hand & no regressions

> Components: fs/s3

> Priority: Blocker
>
> As discussed on hadoop common list; the creation of the s3guard shell profile is stopping the hadoop-aws profile being created, so you can't set up the CP properly there
