JSON path Tester usability issue
Hi,
First of all, I wish the thank all the people that contributed to the
release of 5.4.1.
This is the best-ever release of Jmeter ! Well done !
I’m currently installing it on the performance labs everywhere.
One issue still remains regarding the JSON path Tester –
While switching from TEXT to JSON path Tester, both the Sampler result tab
as well as the Request tab disappear.
It would be much more usable having the JSON path Tester displayed inside
the Response data tab, instead of hiding an above-mentioned couple of tabs.

Hello Shay,
1/ Raw sampler is a 3rd party plugin that does not implement this feature.
2/ The replace feature is a « replace for correlation » , so it does not
replace currently data in all éléments.

The details are as follows:
Tested on Windows 10 host with java version "11.0.9" 2020-10-20 LTS 64-bits:
Scenario:
Add some text to RAW HTTP SAMPLER.
Try from the Jmeter menu: `Search All & Expand` that text.
Result: OK - The text is correctly found.
Try from the Jmeter menu: `Replace` the same text with another text string.
Result: That text is NOT replaced although it was correctly found.

Can you be more specific than "is not working"? I always like to have a
description, of what you expect, what you did and what you saw.
And try not to hijack email threads. That is, don't answer an old email
and change the subject.

Jmeter 5.4.1 - RAW http request - REPLACE string not working

Hi,
Although the `Search All & Expand` is functional within RAW HTTP requests,
the complementary `Replace` function is not working.
Looks like a software bug that may be fixed.

I think it would be best to open an ehancement issue on bugzilla. Mails
with such ideas tend to get lost :)
And if anyone would like to submit a patch to implement this, even better.
