apache-website checkout issues
Hi all.
I have a new machine and having difficulty doing a brand new fresh checkout or the website git repo, that i need to do to update the site about the 1.8.0 nms api release.
The error im getting is for a number of javadoc files in 2.7.0 and 1.3.0 folders getting a "no such file or directory" on each one.
The checkout subsequently fails.
Justin? Any ideas?

I forgot about this, but just came across the files in another
situation: Jekyll 4 converts the output into a directory structure
when generating the site.
Since noone explained their presence, they seem unused, they are for
old releases at this point, and they cause various issues, I have gone
ahead and deleted them.

I've not seen files like them before either. Two different people have
added such files some time apart though, seemingly generated by the
same javadoc run as the 'expected' files, so presumably theres some
trick to causing it that it would be good to prevent. Especially if
they arent really used (though it seems odd they got created if they
aren't).

Those files seem mistaken to me. I just generated the API docs for 2.7.0
and I don't see anything like that.

I'm not clear if they are actually unused or not. It would probably be
good to understand how they come to exist regardless, so it doesnt
keep happening. The content looks a little different than the related
'regular' javadoc files, but with headers stamped within seconds, so
they were presumably generated in the same run. From looking at the
svn + git repo history it seems like Martyn added the 1.3.0 files
directly, and Christopher added the 2.7.0 ones into the latest dir
following 2.7.0, with Clebert subsequently 're-adding' them in the
2.7.0 dir while replacing the latest dir content during 2.8.0.
