Repro:
New document
Insert\footer
Format\Page..., Footer tab
Enter the following for Height: 0.5%2
Click OK
Result:
Value is accepted. If you open the Page Style dialog you will see that the
Footer Height value is now changed to 0.52.
Expected:
Warning of invalid input (ideal)
Existing Footer Height value not changed (OK)

I was able to successfully replicate this issue. When following the steps given
"0.5%2" was accepted and changed to "0.52"
Upon more test I found these results as well:
0.5K2 converted to 0.52
0.5_2 converted to 0.52
0.5^^2 converted to 0.52
0.5() converted to 0.50
0.5test0 converted to 0.50
0..5 converted to 0.5
Expected
Warning of invalid input
Same issue exists for the header style as well as page width and height.
This could become an issue when users accidentally hold the shift key when
trying to type a certain size.
