Stop Karaf from command prompt window

Hi,
   I'm using Karaf on Windows. I found that the only proper way to stop
Karaf is with keys Ctrl+D. If I close the command prompt window I need to
delete folder instances in order to start it again.

Is there any configuration disable this option. I would like to stop it by
closing the prompt window.

I know I'm kinda late on this, but maybe open an issue for this so we can
keep track of it.
I wouldn't expect any different behaviour between Ctrl+D and closing the
window.
