[jira] [Comment Edited] (YETUS-764) test-patch running in a pipeline isn't getting killed

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/YETUS-764?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=16735522#comment-16735522 ]

Allen Wittenauer edited comment on YETUS-764 at 1/7/19 7:08 AM:
----------------------------------------------------------------

-00:
* sanitize cidfile to be more consumable; gets removed when test-patch has removed the container as well
* create pidfile; same sanitization; only represents the master pid in the case of docker mode
* document the above for Jenkins users
* modify jenkinsfile to have the protections as documented

NOTE: this is working on my Arch Linux based text box. The ASF Ubuntu boxes don't appear to suffer from this bug.

> system shows the container and the parents are still running, so something went haywire with the traps.
