How to turn on the log

I work with Felix lessons from

In the lesson 2:
'If the bundle from Example 1 is still active, then we should see it print
out the details of the service event it receives when our new bundle
registers its dictionary service.'
but i see no output in Felix shell from lesson1 o lesson2 bundles
i use version 1.8.0
