deploy sample codes.
Hi everybody,
I finally successed to install soap into JRun on my remote server.
Although I've been making small codes by myself on Tomcat on my local
server these days, I've never used sample codes such as Addressbook.
Is there any usage of sample codes ? ( like how to deploy Addressbook
through http://myserver.com/soap/admin interface.)
I cannot find that.
Thank you.

In order to do that the client would also have to run an HTTP
server and register the "callback" as a service in that server's
SOAP engine. The client would send the "callback address" when
it sends the request and then it'd all work.

The Soap CVS tree has a sample Soap-client to EJB-connector implementation.
It might be also in the 'nightly release.'

I would like to find an example of a SOAP service that is implemented as
an EJB.
Does anyone have an example of how this is done? I have an EJB that I
would like to access.
Thanks,

Re: deploy sample codes.

hi,
instead of using the http://myserver.com/soap/admin interface you could
deploy the Addressbook example from the command line using the
DeploymentDescriptor.xml file that has been provided.
The command for deploying is
" java org.apache.soap.server.ServiceManagerClient
http://myserver.com/soap/servlet/rpcrouter deploy DeploymentDescriptor.xml "
Hope this helps.
