You're mission if you choose to accept it is to add a goal to the Eve plugin which unzips all dependent jars in a project and jars them up in one mega jar. The jar can optionally be made an executable jar where a main() containing class can be specified.
This plugin will be used to generate executable jars for:
Eve standalone server jar
Kerberos standalone server jar
Eve-Kerberos combined server jar
Eve-Kerberos-Changepw combined server jar

Luckily we found javaapp plugin from maven-plugins to spare us the work.
