o.a.commons.httpclient.URI.getEscapedURI() from httpclient 3.x - porting guide to httpclient 4.x

While migrating from o.a.commons.httpclient, encountered the above api -
getEscapedURI() in commons-httpclient 3.x .

Is there an equivalent of the same present in httpclient 4.x and above ?
