DO NOT REPLY [Bug 118637] New: Using OOo on a domain member with
forlder redirection enabled fails
https://issues.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=118637
Bug #: 118637
Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: Using OOo on a domain member with forlder redirection
enabled fails
Classification: Code
Product: ui
Version: OOo 3.3
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Windows XP
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: enhancement
Priority: P5
Component: ui
AssignedTo: uineedsconfirm@openoffice.org
ReportedBy: 7eggert@gmx.de
CC: ooo-issues@incubator.apache.org
We use folder redirection to let most of the user data reside on a network
share. I suppose this causes OOo to terminate with "Die Anwendung konnte nicht
gestartet werden. [context=user] caught unexpected exception". At least, it
tries to access a directory on C: instead of accessing the network share.
Here are some lines from procmon.exe: (\\bcshsrv2 is our server)
16:52:57,9486631 soffice.bin 2712 CreateFile
C:\Programme\OpenOffice.org
