cannot load mod_jk

I have a problem with mod_jk. When I do apachectl
configtest I get an error:

Syntax error on line 8 of
/home/grd/m5051236/tomcat/conf/mod_jk.conf-auto:
Cannot load
/home/grd/m5051236/apache/libexec/mod_jk.so into
server: ld.so.1: /home/grd/m5051236/apache/bin/httpd:
fatal: relocation error: file
/home/grd/m5051236/apache/libexec/mod_jk.so: symbol
fdatasync: referenced symbol not found

I would be very grateful if someone can help me to
solve this problem.

Roman.

Shtykh,

I have solved this problem recompiling Apache 1.3.20 with
option --enable-module=so

$ ./configure --prefix=PREFIX --enable-module=so
.....

For default this feature is disabled. I think that you should read the
INSTALL file of apache package before compiling with feature above.

Hope of help.

Pier Paolo.
