Carol Frampton commented on FLEX-33140:
---------------------------------------

Note that TLF is not currently part of the Apache Flex project so we are not able to make bug fixes in the TLF code at this time.

>             Project: Apache Flex
>          Issue Type: Bug
>          Components: .Unspecified - Framework
> Affects Versions: Adobe Flex SDK 4.6 (Release)
> Environment: OS found: Windows 7 x64 (though likely all OS platforms affected)
> Browser found: IE 9, Chrome 20
> Language found: English
>            Reporter: Stefan Cameron
>              Labels: TLF
>
> var text:String = "<a id='FOO'>bar</a>";
> var flow:TextFlow = TextConverter.importToFlow(text, TextConverter.TEXT_FIELD_HTML_FORMAT);
> flow.getElementByID("FOO") == null // true -- should be false but ID has been imported as "foo"
> Note that importing via TextFlowUtil.importToString() doesn't have this issue (though the point here is to import an HTML-formatted string so TextFlowUtil is not an option since it expects TLF formatting). Also, the imported anchor element's 'href' attribute is not affected: it retains its casing as expected.
