I am release manager for hadoop 2.6.4 release (apache id: junping_du). In creating final tag for 2.6.4 release, the previous commit include an empty file that unexpected. After git pushing this tag(rel/release-2.6.4), I found this issue and remove the file in next commit. Tried to use "--force" to push the same tag again doesn't work with msg like: "error: failed to push some refs to 'https://git-wip-us.apache.org/repos/asf/hadoop.git' " as the release tag seems to set as immutable. 
We need this update or it could have diff between 2.6.4 release tag and branch-2.6.4.
