oozie and nutch

I am considering using oozie to manage running nutch jobs. I was
wondering if anyone else has used oozie to manage nutch? Any problems
with doing so? Is this a good idea?

I am considering using oozie because I need to programmatically run
nutch jobs from a web app.

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Bowen

Hi Bowen,

As Chris' response indicates, this is something I think a lot of us have
been conceptually thinking about for a while. If you could provide a short
description of what it would entail that would be excellent.

Thanks

Lewis

Hi Bowen,

This seems like an awesome idea. I would be very interested in exploring this.

You may want to file a JIRA issue:

http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NUTCH

to track interest and progress.

Thank you!

Cheers,
Chris
