Download Stats for Tomcat

Hello All,

I just wanted to send out some REALLY impressive numbers. These are the
download stats for the Tomcat Servlet Engine. Considering that these numbers
do not reflect the mirrors, but only the downloads from apache.org, they are
pretty impressive.

April 1-30:
57990 downloads of Tomcat.
57990/30 = 1993 (downloads/day)

May 1-17:
31884 downloads of Tomcat.
31884/17 = 1875 (downloads/day)

Total downloads since April 1st:
89874

I would also say that the "decrease" in per/day downloads is that we haven't
done a release this month (the last release was April 18th). When we do the
3.2 release things will go up quite a bit because a lot of improvements have
gone into it (2-3x speed increase, etc).

thanks,

-jon stevens
