Declaring New Resource Types in publication.xml

Lenya Users,

The tutorial for creating a new resource type:

http://lenya.apache.org/docs/2_0_x/tutorials/resourcetype/part1.html

states that the new type must be declared in
$MODULE_HOME/config/cocoon-xconf

Whilst looking at the $PUB_HOME/publication.xml file
(for the default publication), I found the
<resource-types> section, which is referred to in the
technical documentation section:

http://lenya.apache.org/docs/2_0_x/reference/resource-types.html

It appears, but is not stated anywhere, that a new
resource type should be added to the <resource-types>
section of the publication.xml document. 

Is this true?

That's only necessary if you want to assign a workflow for the
resource type:

http://lenya.apache.org/docs/2_0_x/reference/resource-types.html#Adding+the+Resource+Type+to+a+Publication

I omitted it in the tutorial for simplicity. But I guess clarity
is more important, so I added a note there too.
