Should we cut a 1.7.1?

All,

We had a pretty major issue, at least in my opinion, where anything derived
from the proxy module failed on Weld 2.x/3.x for testing purposes.

It does impact tests mostly, but I think its worth having a bug fix release
on that alone.

So what do you guys think if I roll a 1.7.1 Monday/Tuesday? Does anyone
have availability to vote?

John

Hey guys,

I plan to stage DS 1.7.1 tomorrow (Wednesday) evening, US Eastern. Please
shout if you see something.

Hi,

You can find the issue here:
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DELTASPIKE-1179

It only occurs if you're using proxy and SE styled tests (e.g. Arquillian
Weld container, Test Control module, CDI Unit).

Could we get some more clarification on what this issue is? I just finished
running our full battery of DeltaSpike Data tests with WELD 2.3.5-Final and
DS 1.7.0 and did not experience any issues.

Since DS Data requires DS Proxy, and since our tests implement pretty much
all of the features documented on the Delta Spike Data documentation page,
it's unclear what you mean by "anything derived from the proxy module".

Thanks
